Inspired by European shields of the 11th and 12th centuries, this classic kite shield offers the distinctive elongated shape associated with Norman knights and early medieval warriors. Its broad upper section provides excellent coverage, while the tapered lower point helps protect the legs without restricting movement.

The shield comes with enarmes already attached but does not include buckles. This allows reenactors to fit their own historically appropriate buckles, choosing a style and material suited to their exact period, region, or portrayal. It is an ideal option for those seeking a practical shield that can be customised for greater historical accuracy.
