Hnefatafl, also known as The Viking Game, Tafl, or The King's Table, is a timeless and strategic board game with a rich history dating back to the Dark Ages in Northern Europe. Archaeological discoveries have revealed various versions of the game that evolved over centuries. The last documented instances of Hnefatafl being played were in Wales in 1587 and in Lapland in 1723.
