Wired grip for English style steel bowl guard hilt to fit our tang type 2 blades. Ideally suited to sword blank type 9 and will also work well with type 4 & type 6 blades with minimum effort.

This grip is a three piece system,

1. Leather covered, wire wrapped, wooden grip
2. Steel backing plate
3. Ferrule, connecting binder

This grip is ornate and well made. We have tested it and feel it is 100% combat ready under regular use.

Designed specifically for this guard here, and will also work with our other bowl guards. It will fit all MFC tang type 2 blades, but in some cases the tang will need to be cut shorter to make an ideal fit. You can finish with an M8 nut or any MFC M8 threaded pommels.
