A Late Roman style replica Spatha with Visigoth patterns and decorations adorning the hilt and scabbard.
The Visigoths invaded the Roman Empire between the 3rd and 5th centuries AD and ruled much of Spain until overthrown by the Moors in 711.
The scabbard is made from faux-leather, the blade is stainless steel, and the hilt is a plastic polymer. As such, this blade is not constructed for combat, rather a display or costume piece.
