As described Good quality steel that makes a mockery of lesser blades. Cross guard welded in place with a couple of tack-welds, so, nice and solid, but would need grinding off to replace. As in description, handle is the weak point, fell apart, right off the sword, after 2 minutes on the pell. Tang is also only three quarters of the handle, with a bit welded on the end that the pommel is peened onto.
