This fake steel foam sword is inspired by the classic shape of German Grosse Messers, which can be seen in fencing manuals of the 15th and 16th century. Signature features of the german messer hilt are the wooden knife handle as well as the lug on the outside of the crossguard that protects the knuckles of the hand. A great and effective single-edged blade for all common soldiers.

A perfect sword for your Empire or mercenary LARP character, or perhaps for light impact HEMA sparring.
