This rondel dagger is based on later medieval dagger patterns, with the distinctive disc-shaped guard and pommel that give the style its name. Purpose-built around the thrust, the rondel dagger was a compact secondary weapon carried by soldiers, men-at-arms, and swordsmen for close-quarters use when a primary blade was lost, drawn, or unavailable.

The dagger features a narrow, tapering blade suited to the classic rondel profile, paired with a twisted grip and decorative metal fittings. The matching scabbard completes the piece, making it a striking addition to medieval costume, reenactment kit, display collections, and historical-themed outfits.

With its bold silhouette and practical historical form, this rondel dagger is an excellent accessory for knights, soldiers, guards, mercenaries, and late medieval characters.

a delightful item. Good looking piece for an upmarket impression. Well put together, no loose bits. Scabbard is tight, so stretching the throat to make removal easier. As it is now, it will never fall out by mistake.
