These hard plastic shoulder guards are designed to provide extra protection for HEMA, WMA, and historical fencing training. Worn over suitable protective clothing, it helps shield the shoulder area from strikes while maintaining a low-profile shape that is practical for movement. The curved 3-lame style design sits over the shoulder and the upper arm, and helps deflect blows away from the joint, making it a useful addition to a fencing jacket, gambeson, or other training kit.

Practical 17th Cent Cavalry Kit Having found a source for a buff coat I plunged headlong into getting a kit for a period light horseman. Most of the major pieces you need are right here. This armor kit is almost too good a bargain to be taken seriously. Fact is it looks reasonably right for the period and for a 6foot 2in 200 pound person it fits well. The helmet is gigantic. I wear a 7 5/8 hat and this thing swallowed my head. Need to find a headliner for this and/or a very substantial arming cap. Also needs a chinstrap mod as it comes without any provision. It's still a great deal for a base kit.
