Same great durable re-enactment 'beater' sword at a new unbeatable price. You will be so happy with it, you'll wish you bought two. These are among our most popular swords, so get in while stock lasts.

Size: 720mm Blade, 885mm Overall
Weight: 1.15kg

Full tang, rounded and blunt, now sporting an extra wide fuller. A 'ready-to-go' sword for the re-enactor. This sword makes a good 'beater' and has a 3mm edge for safety and strength in edge to edge combat styles. The blade is a low carbon steel with a low temper, it may bend but should not break.

This sword has a brass cross guard and lobed pommel.

Combat Rating = 9 of 10

Brilliant This is an amazing sword feels great in the hand and smooth swings, even the weight at the tip is accurate to Viking age long swords, getting ready to buy my second one

Brilliant Blade! This was my first blade and I have loved it since I got it, after months of weekly use and putting it through combat it has been a brilliant blade!

We did change the hilt so the balance point shifted but other then that it has been brilliant. Rings really nicely in combat and feels great in your hand! Maintains its shine really well too.

I am seriously considering getting a 2nd and stripping it down just for the blade. Another friend who has done re-enactment for years is getting this blade for that reason.

Very happy with it! Great product MFC!!

Excellent Starter I got this about a month ago, and it's quite suitable for beginners. It's not overly heavy and has a good feel to it in swings.

Only thing to note is you may need to file back the points on the cross-guard as they are a little sharp.

excelent for sword and shield work This is the first sword I got and have been using for near a year now, while it feels a little weighty in the tip I would not change my mind on this sword, it is something that with time you get used to, the same with any sword, you get a feel for its quirks and use it to your advantage.

I would fully support the use of this blade for any beginner.
