Practical 'Scent Stopper' Pommel Sword, full tang, rounded and blunt, a 'ready-to-go' sword for the re-enactor. By popular request they  have been made with a lighter blade and higher temper than previous models. These are among our most popular sword, so get them while they last!

The high Carbon Steel blade will bend, but not shatter under stress, and the tempered edge will chip when struck instead of cracking. The blade also features a wide fuller to take a lot of weight from the blade, making the sword feel light and maneuverable in your hands.

The blade is reenactment ready, meaning it has at least a 1.2 mm edge and a well rounded blade tip.

The hilt is a two-piece wooden fit, wrapped in leather cord. The cross guard and scent-stopper pommel are both die-cast brass.

Sword is well made, cheap to buy and battle ready, good balance. I use it as my lighter sword for quicker strikes but it does get more edge nicks than my other swords but is easily fixed with a file over. For that i give it a 4

The best sword for a beginner. I bought the sword over 2 years ago and I've been thrashing it most weekends with edge on edge fighting. The sword has never broken, just a file is required to remove burs.

I only gave 4 stars because it is a heavy sword but it has a lot of weight in the pommel and cross-guard so the balance is fine.

Wonderful blade Really great value sword that is a pleasure to wield. Perfect balance for me, comfy handle and a really solid feel overall. I highly recommend this sword for the reenactor or for theatrical swordplay due to its durability

price to quality ratio is 10/10 This is really a durable weapon. Mine has taken some serious punishment and is still going strong. for the price i paid id say it payed its self off after one year. It doesn't look like failing me anytime soon. The weight and length is just right for me and the style is one that will fit in many kits. Five star rating well deserved.

worth every cent This may not be one of the prettiest swords you will find but it will be one of the strongest. It has a good balance and feel and is a real joy to fight with. As a combat weapon it’s 10/10.

Solid as a rock This is my first practical one hander. It's a bit on the heavy side, but well balanced. Gives a good feel of protection when parrying. Good for training, as the extra weight makes you work harder. Looks nice too. As the description says - A good beater.
