Blade length: 785mm
Overall length: 990mm
Blade profile thickness: 4.4mm
Edge thickness: 2.1mm
Weight: 1.98kg

This sword has a full tang and is tempered to 52-Rockwell hardness cone (HRC).
Each sword comes with a purpose fit scabbard made from wood and covered with rexine.
This sword currently has the large version rivets.

It is extremely durable and a potential danger to other blades.

During the Viking age , the swords grew slightly in length to 37" (930 mm) and took on a slightly more acute distal taper and point. These blades had deep fullers running their length, yet still had single handed hilts which often sported a 'brazil nut' shaped pommel . While the pattern of hilt and blade design of this time might readily be called 'The Viking sword' to do so would be to neglect the wide spread popularity it enjoyed. All over continental Europe between 700-1150 AD this design and its small variations could be found.

Combat Rating: 9 out of 10

Love this Sword.
Scabbard is firm fit but draws out well, just as it should.
The danger to other blades comment in description is appropriate. Much tougher steel than I expected.
Blade spring tempered much better than I expected for the price.
Only thing I dislike about this sword is the size and weight of the end cap.
Would immediately buy a second one of these if they were offered with a smaller disk pommel.
Great sword that is worth alot more than you pay. durable and well fitted. only problem with it is that the scabbard is too tight and just a shortend longsword scabbarda nd not time period freindly
the sword is awesome. its durable and well made and all the fittings are perfect. the one problem was that the scabbard is overly tight fitting to the point where i cannot draw it without effort. but all round its very good
Good sword, holds an edge well, use it around the farm great fun
