By all artistic, historiological and archaeological accounts, the Corinthian Helm (after the city-state Corinth) was the most popular helm during the Archaic and early Classical periods. And there's no reason it shouldn't have been - just look at how cool this helmet is. Aesthetic factors aside, the bronze helmet did also provide exemplary protection to the face and head, albeit to the detriment of hearing and peripheral vision. Then again, this wouldn't exactly pose an issue to a Hoplite in syntagma formation.

This recreation is made of metal and painted black. It features some distressing - like one would see on a battle worn helmet of the time. A thick black horsehair plume sits on its crown, following with the fashion sense of the era. The helmet also comes with an interior leather webbing to assist in fitting.
