The Kyber Knife, or Peshkabz, is a blade of Indo-Persian origin that saw wide use across India and Central Asia during the Mughal Period. Designed as a thrusting weapon for penetrating mail armour: the long, sleek blade and reinforced tip are perfect for slipping into individual links of maille and splitting them apart, allowing for the rest of the blade to penetrate through the armour.

The Khyber Knife design consists of a single edged, full tang blade with a thick spine. The horn grip allows for handling in ways that allow for thrusting but also slashing with the relatively wide blade profile. The Khyber Knife also comes with a belt hook mounted to the end of the grip and a leather wrapped wooden sheath. The sheath has a mouth that extends past the blade to cover the metal neck of the grip.

Deepeeka claims this weapon is battle-ready, but we are yet to fully test it here at Medieval Fight Club. We recommend further rounding of both the edge and the tip of the Khyber Knife before use in combat.
