The pourpoint was developed in the early 15th century. It is worn over a shirt and under the gambeson and usually used to support plate leg armour. It should be tight fitting and laced in at the waist so that the weight of plate leg harness is taken by the waist rather than the shoulders.

This pourpoint can also be used to point hoes or chausses and looks great even when you aren't in battle.

Features
Pourpoint is made from 3 layers of black linen
Arming points are black suede stitched to both the inside and the outside of the garment
Reinforced arming points (4.5cm x 12.5cm) - front & back
Black linen lacing
