The Phrygian helmet was also commonly known as a Thracian helmet and was used in Thrace, Dacia Magna Graecia and even more widely throughout the Helenistic world during the classical era. The names given to this style of helmet are because of the similarity in shape, specifically the forward inclined peak of the caps of cloth and leather as worn by the Phrygian and Thracian Peoples.

This Phrygian helmet is made of a reddish bronze and is sporting a magnificent beard. See large photos for more details.

$10 Helmet Stand: By ordering this helmet, you can add a specialised helmet stand at a discounted price of $10! Simply add the helmet stand to your cart and the discount will be applied in the checkout!

This is by far my favourite helmet. Extremely well made and finished. I have a 59cm head and it fits me perfectly. Of course it looks absolutely spectacular with the rest of my kit. I love it!
