Originally pavillions were used by the military for their camps. Numerous paintings from the13th century depict the landscape as being covered in this style of tent - sometimes plain sometimes amazingly decorated. Having a period style pavillion will not only add to your re-enactment experience but make for a greater experience for all!
This historical tent stands on two standing bamboo poles without the ridgepole. This gives an authentic medieval bow shape to the roof. This tent is covered with water-repellent cotton canvas with inner lining. Beautiful dags and trims add to its elegance. To give our historical tents and marquees the real medieval look, every tent is hand quilted and all the cotton ropes used in the tent are hand twisted.
